2 Bikers Dead, Dozens Injured As Dense Smog Leads To Massive Pile-Ups In UP

Early this morning, pollution conditions in Noida and other regions of western Uttar Pradesh caused separate incidents that resulted in the deaths of two bikers and the injuries of about three dozen others.
On the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, poor visibility caused one truck to collide with another. When a bus from Panipat to Mathura failed to notice the trucks, it struck them from behind. A dozen or so bus passengers were hurt and taken to the hospital. When the police arrived at the pile-up location, they began to clear the area.
Six automobiles piled up at Firozabad, which is close to Agra, after a pick-up truck broke down and the cars behind it were unable to see the halted vehicle because of the poor visibility. Numerous individuals hurt in the accident have been taken to Saifai Medical College. The event happened on the Agra-Lucknow expressway, close to Nasirpur. After failing to see the stranded pick-up truck, a series of SUVs smashed one after the other.
A biker was killed near Bulandshahr after being struck from behind by a speeding truck. Due to poor visibility on National Highway-34, a truck struck Mansharam’s bike, causing his death. The truck driver has been taken into custody by police.Another traffic accident happened close to Badaun when a teacher named Santosh Singh was riding his bike to the school in Mau when it was struck by an unidentified car. Similar collisions in the region have injured ten more persons.
