After Being Inaugurated, The Inaugural Mahashivaratri Is Held At Sadhguru Sannidhi Near Bengaluru

At the recently opened Sadhguru Sannidhi in Chikkaballapur, Karnataka, The Isha Foundation will hold its first Mahashivaratri event. Since February 18 was Mahashivaratri, the Isha Foundation’s management planned numerous processions for the holy night.

At the recently opened spiritual center, which also features a 112 feet Adi Yogi statue that is a duplicate of Coimbatore’s Isha Yoga Center, many devotees took part in the Deepaarpanam (offering of earthen lamps) during the day. Sadhguru, the founder of the Isha Foundation, will be present in Coimbatore, though.

While numerous events, including a midnight meditation, are scheduled for Coimbatore tonight, a sizable crowd is anticipated to attend. The famed overnight spiritual gathering for Sadhguru, also known as Jaggi Vasudev, is elaborately prepared. The overnight agenda also includes cultural events including dance and music performances. Around ten o’clock and lasting until midnight, Sadhguru will hold a meditation session. Tomorrow at 5.45 am, the event will come to an end.

The Isha Foundation also disclosed that the event would be broadcast live online and possibly on TV.

A 112-foot-tall Adi Yogi monument was unveiled in Karnataka’s Chikkaballapur, around 60 kilometers from Bengaluru, in January by the state’s chief minister, Basavaraj Bommai.
