Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is renowned for his distinctive aesthetics and narrative, is getting ready to launch his “Heeramandi” series on the OTT platform.
On February 18th, the series’ first look was revealed in Mumbai by the director.
On February 18, Bhansali and Ted Sarandos, co-CEO of Netflix, met in Bombay to discuss the evolving fields of Indian and international storytelling.

The director claimed that in the upcoming Netflix series, he attempted to capture the subtleties that were emphasized in Kamal Amrohi’s “Pakeezah” and K Asif’s “Mughal-E-Azam.” The leading women in both movies, Madhubala and Meena Kumari portrayed courtesans.
