In order to combat the problem of pirated e-textbooks, Raghav and Varun Bali’s Bookvala is using blockchain technology. Their goal is to become the most popular e-textbook network worldwide. The twins brothers, who are both Chitkara University undergraduate students, began working on this initiative after they finished high school, and they have been able to pay their bills ever since thanks to internship stipends. Angel financiers gave them $180,000 in total.
