CEO Ms Uma Prabhu and colleagues, volunteers, raise Manav Sadhan Vikas Sansthan to new heights in serving masses for decades.

MSVS , (Manav sadhan Vikas sansthan) is an NGO working in multiple locations. With a mission of Holistic human development as an ultimate objective. It carries several programmes.

It is involved in carrying out Nursing and Para medical courses in Konkan for last 2 decades.All students from local rural areas got jobs in top hospitals in Mumbai, Pune etc. On land donated by local villagers, almost 49,000 Sq feet infra built,some under construction .Also,Jan Shikshan Sansthan ( JSS) in Sindhudurg dist for last 23 years, has trained over 80,000 women,youth for various SKILS ,many have now become self employed . It has own multi storied building in Oras. Several industry partners with CII, set up multi skilling centre 

 Cycle banks have been  encouraged and pioneered by Msvs  in 2000 villages for women to use. Though owned by community and kept in common convenient place.It Has huge positive impact on freedom of movement for rural women,young girl students Sewing Machines have been provided to 2,600 women, of which 600 are widows. To help them earn supplementary incomes through tailoring. They are Now being linked to Garment manufacturing in bigger markets. Training is imparted for requisite Skills as requested by end-customers.

There are More than 500 Parivartan Kendras(Pk- Transformation centers) created in the format of  1 for a cluster of 5 villages. Administered by local community based organisations. To bring in common amenities and training facilities. Similarly,JSS started in Ratnagiri district of Konkan Maharashtra. 

Enterprise Development Institute ( EDI) is functioning  in Koperkhairne , Navi Mumbai in Mathadi Workers dominated neighbourhood.To offer higher Skills and Enterprenuer abilities. It has a 3 storied building and good infrastructure.Here,CII, ICICI partners with MSVS to turn youth into Enterprenuers

For holistic development 6 dimensional programmes already implemented ,few under activation 

A. Physical- Gymnasiums in  120 PKs,(Parivartan Kendra’s).

Konkan Krida Prabodhini planning rural sports complex on 12.5 acres land in Kudal, Sindhudurg dist 

B. Intellectual- 

Computers,provided to schools in last 20 years. Community based touch screens installed in Dyanada, with support of ICCICI The project was launched by Honourable  Dr A P J Abdul Kalam . Libraries given to several schools 

C. Economic. 

In PK, JSS, Schools ,community centers training offered to create supplementary incomes for rural families 

D. Social

Efforts made to eradicate social disparity through several initiatives in Parivartan Kendras.

E. Environment. 

Eco clubs created in schools . Now working on online awareness to maintain rich biodiversity 

F. Spiritual 

 To Create positive mindset

THE 6 target Groups are:- 1. Women,2. Youth, 3. Farmers, 4. Fishermen, 5. Deprived Classes and 6. ExServicemen 

SOME PROGRAMS CREATE VOLUNTEER FORCE  like FARMERS CLUB,AROGYA RAKSHAK.( Konkan Arogya Vardhini),

KRIDA VARDHAK( konkan Krida Prabodhini),,KALA SAMVARDHAK ( konkan Kala Acadamy )and PARYAVARAN RAKSHAK.

The Manav sadhan Vikas sansthan (MSVS) Trustees are accomplished , high caliber learned persons .With rich experience in various fields. 

MSVS has highly credible work ethics, with Trustees who work fully pro bono, no personal interests of any kind. 

MSVS is chaired by Ms Uma Prabhu,(CEO), She  has worked as journalist in several top media houses in very senior positions. Her education( MBA, PG in Journalism , Science graduate ) and varied and thorough  on-ground journalism experience of over 30 years helps MSVS immensely.
