SHE presented the 4th Inspiring Women Achievers Awards (IWAA) 2023 in association with Shri Shikhshayatan Foundation.


11th March 2023 ,Kolkata-   4th Inspiring Women Achievers Awards is a testimony to the accomplishments of women across India  and the globe .  This first-of-its-kind award ceremony, which has proven its credibility over the past three years while consistently growing from strength to strength, was held today at Bhuwalka Hall at the premises of Shri Shikshayatan School, Kolkata.

Deputy Consulate General of China Mr Qin Yong and Secretary General & CEO of Shikshayatan Foundation, Ms. Bratati Bhattacharyya, were the special Guest of Honour.  Other prominent personalities were Mr Rajendra Khandelwal Consul general of Republic of Niger, Imran Zaki – President Faces, Suman Sood- Director BD Memorial; Suvina Shunglu – Founding Principal Sri Sri Academy; John Bagul – Principal SouthCity Internationl School, Anil Manawat – Director AMRI group of Hospitals;  Dr Pranab Dasgupta, Dr Dipanwita Hazari, Ms Sangeeta Tandon, Principal- Shri Shikshayatan School, Dr Shuvendu Mazumdar Principal-Calcutta Business School and many other noted educationists.

The awe-inspiring evening recognized prominent achievers and made an arduous attempt to bring known, unknown, unsung woman to the forefront from all spheres of society, without any bias, fair and transparent judgement. The sole purpose is to empower women. The highly distinguished team at IWAA critically examined each nomination and the felicitation therefore were the most deserving.

Bratati Bhattacharyya, Secretary General and CEO of Shikhshayatan Foundation a 103 year old apex body of four units and premium sponsors of the awards said, “It gives us great privilege to be a part of 4th Inspiring Women Achiever Awards that celebrates women. Celebrating the accomplishments of what women have done, a big appreciation goes for their incredible journey. So this year IWAA plans to celebrate the special 15.

A unique aspect this year was the successful completion of a 4th year milestone.

Shagufta Hanaphieis a Communation Specialist and an out of box storyteller. She is also a business coach, mentor, an entrepreneur, an author who promises to celebrate 10,000 women under her brand. Be it the stage of IWAA Awards, Amaar Durga, Celebrations, her books Bengal 21 & Global Superstars and her blogs she loves to celebrate the lives of inspired women.

This journey itself has been exceptionally empowering. Every year we eagerly await to learn, meet and associate with extraordinary women achievers and get a glimpse of their incredible journey. I’ve read over  500 + women achievers’ & met over 1000 inspiring women in the last 4 years. All I pursue and desire to accomplish every year is to enhance the lives of other women through this platform, so that women get that burst of enthusiasm to succeed. IWAA is not just a brand or an award giving platform. It is a revolutionary movement, a motivating force, and a ray of hope! And we are all set to recognize women achievers across the country or even the globe with IWAA–Inspiring Women Achievers Awards” said Shagufta Hanaphie Founder SHE & IWAA.

The Red-Carpet evening also witnessed an exclusive performances by Vocalist Anindita Mitra a stunning semi classical dance performance by Actress Anindita Banerjee Roy & an ode to women achievers by Poet & Author Anuradha Kapoor. 

IWAA 2023 Award Winners are:


1. Ms Shamlu Dudeja from Kolkata was conferred with the title of “KANTHA QUEEN” for her contributions in the field of Kantha as Kantha Revivalist. 


2. Ms Agnimitra Paul from Kolkata was conferred with the title of “WOMEN ICON AWARD” for her contribution in the field of Politics as a Politician.


3. Dr. Aafrin Shabbir from Chennai was conferred with the title of “EXCELLENCE IN MEDICAL FIELD” for her contributions as a Diabetologist

4. Ms. Shruti Mohta from Kolkata was conferred with the title of “EXCELLENCE SOCIAL CHANGEMAKER ” for her contributions as Social worker creating awareness for Organ Donations.


5. Ms. Sunetra Lahiri from Kolkata was conferred with the title of “EXCELLENCE IN ART & CRAFT” for her contributions in the field of Art and creativity.


6. Ms. Nikhat Sultana from Kolkata was conferred with the title of “YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR AWARD” for her contribution as a fashion and lifestyle exhibition organizer.

7. Oiendrila RayKapur from Kolkata was conferred with the title of “TRAVEL CHANGEMAKER” for her contributions in the field of Tour and Travel.


8. Ms. Sunmbul Rahman from Kolkata was conferred with the title “EXCELLENCE IN SPORTS” for her contributions in the field of Marathon & Fitness.


9. Ms. R. Rajeswari Iyer from Hyderabad was conferred with title “LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD” for her contributions in the field of Public Relations.


10. Ms. Aatmn Parmar from Ahmedabad was conferred with the tittle as “EXCELLENCE AS   HOLISTIC & WELLNESS COACH” for her contributions as a Welbeing.


11. Ms. Kahini Bhattacharya from Kolkata was conferred with the title of “EXCELLENCE IN TRAINING” for her contributions in the field of grooming as Image Consultant.


12. Ms. Afroza Naznin Shumi from Bangladeshwas conferred with IWAA Global with the title of “EXCELLENCE AS CULINARY ARTIST” for her contributions in the field of cooking


13. Ms. Manisha Tibrewal from Kolkata was conferred with the title of “EXCELLENCE AS HOMEPRENEUR” for her contributions to run her entrepreneurship business from home.

14. Ms. Nita Bajoria from Kolkata was conferred with the title of “EXCELLENCE AS AUTHOR” for hercontributions in the field the field of Literary Works.


15. Ms. Poonam Singh from Patna was conferred with IWAA Disability with the title of “EXCELLENCE IN PARA MODELLING” for her outstanding contributions in the field of fashion and modelling .
