Renowned actress Swastika Mukherjee inaugurates Godrej Interio’s New store in Hooghly – Chinsurah

Kolkata, April 17 2023: Godrej & Boyce, the flagship company of the Godrej Group announced that its business Godrej Interio, a leader in home and office furniture has launched its new outlet at Chinsurah in West Bengal. This 588 sq. ft. state-of-the-art flagship store was launched by Swastika Mukherjee, the celebrated actress across the Tollywood film industry along with Mr. Dev Sarkar, Senior Vice President (B2C), Godrej Interio. This store will provide an impetus to Godrej Interio’s retail presence in West Bengal and Eastern markets in India.
The store is located in Chinsurah town of Hooghly district, one of the oldest market in West Bengal adjoining both towns of Chinsurah and Chandannagar surrounded by residential and commercial spaces. The store offers specially crafted quality products in home furniture, mattresses, and home storage – the largest selling category in India, in different styles and finishing.
Expressing her excitement on inaugurating the new Godrej Interio store in the city, well-known film actress, Swastika Mukherjee said, “I’m overjoyed to open the new shop at Chinsurah. Because I want the furnishings to represent my personality, decorating my home is a very private activity for me. Per annum in next three years. With the opening of this new store, Godrej Interio has expanded its footprint in Eastern India, where it has a significant client base. We plan to open another 20 outlets in the state by the end of F.Y.24 and plan to grow by 20% in the next three years.
