Smt Nina Singh, IPS (RJ: 89) assumed the charge of DG CISF. Engraving a historic milestone as the first woman to helm this esteemed position. Her visionary leadership will usher this multi-skilled and multi -dimensional force to greater heights.
A befitting Guard of Honour was presented to DG CISF Smt Nina Singh (IPS) at CISF HQrs, New Delhi. Senior Officers and personnel of CISF interacted with DG CISF on the occasion.

Amongst those who congratulated Ms Nina Singh for breaking this ”glass ceiling,” were Union Ministers and senior personalities.
Union Minister Honourable Shri Kiren Rijiju said,”Congratulations to Smt Nina Singh, a decorated IPS officer on being as the first woman DG of CISF.
