SpaceX Unveils Advanced EVA Suits for Private Astronauts in Polaris Program

SpaceX has revealed its cutting-edge Extravehicular Activity (EVA) suits, designed to be worn by astronauts during missions in low-Earth orbit, with deployment expected as early as this summer. These new suits represent a significant evolution from the existing spacesuits utilized aboard Dragon missions, now equipped to facilitate tasks outside the spacecraft itself.
Unlike the previous suits, primarily engineered to endure extended durations in pressurized environments, the upgraded EVA suits boast advancements in materials, joint design, redundancy safeguards, and include a helmet visor heads-up display (HUD).
