ICCR  organized “Exit – Engagement Evening” for ICCR Scholars in Kolkata

ICCR organized ” Exit Engagement Evening” for ICCR scholars  who are completing their current academic/professional course curriculum in West Bengal, Odisha, India on 20th June 2024  in Kolkata. 
 
The students from different countries who are studying in different universities in West Bengal & Odisha  on ICCR Scholarship and completing their courses were presented with ICCR Alumini Card  with life time validity so that the students  can get easy access to  various  business chambers  of India as well as other corporate bodies to explore business opportunities . ICCR Scholars after passing out and on their return to their home country can  explore scope of various business opportunities between India and their home countries. 
Idea of empowering ICCR scholars with basic knowledge & information on trade opportunities with India was of  Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe former President of ICCR. 

This is second year of “Exit – Engagement Evening” ( E-3).   The program was presided by Smt. Anju Ranjan IFS Deputy Director General ( Culture) of ICCR. Smt. Ranjan also designed the ICCR Alumini Card given to the scholars. Smt. Anju Ranjan is heading Culture vertical of ICCR and overseeing ICCR scholarships & scholars . 
 
Deputy Director General of India Tourism of Ministry of Tourism Shri Pranav Prakash  made presentation  on touristic places in eastern India as well as scope and opportunities of tourism business in Eastern India .
Shri Dipankar Bhattacharjee Director of CII made presentation on CII to the students as well as invited them to participate in  various activities of CII.
Shri Sushantjit Dey Deputy Director of ICC made presentation on ICC & spoke on various engagement & interactions  options for ICCR Scholars.
Shri Pabitra K. Sarkar of KVIC made presentation on Khadi industry in West Bengal and its entrepreneurship development programs.
As indicated by Ms. Minakshi Misra Head & Zonal Director of ICCR Kolkata, ICCR is organizing  “Exit Engagement Evening ” in various cities of India for ICCR scholars to sensitize and spread awareness about rich socio-economic -cultural  heritage of Bharat as well as  empower and encourage the ICCR scholars to participate in economic and trade development activities with India in time ahead. 
A cultural  performance was presented by ICCR empanelled Dancers & scholars.
