Vivo V40 Pro and Vivo V40 Launched in India with Advanced Zeiss Cameras and Robust Features

Vivo has unveiled its latest smartphones, the Vivo V40 Pro and Vivo V40, in the Indian market, both featuring advanced Zeiss cameras and offering notable improvements in technology and design. The new Vivo V40 series aims to capture attention with its impressive specifications and premium features, positioning itself as a strong competitor in the high-end smartphone segment.
The Vivo V40 Pro is available in two sophisticated colors, Ganges Blue and Titanium Grey, while the Vivo V40 comes in Ganges Blue, Lotus Purple, and Titanium Grey. The Vivo V40 Pro is offered in two storage configurations: 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage and a higher-end model with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. On the other hand, the Vivo V40 is available in three storage options: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB.
In terms of pricing, the Vivo V40 Pro is priced at Rs 49,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant and Rs 55,999 for the 12GB+512GB model. The Vivo V40 starts at Rs 34,999 for the 8GB+128GB version, Rs 36,999 for the 8GB+256GB model, and Rs 41,999 for the 12GB+512GB variant. These smartphones are now available for pre-booking, with sales of the Vivo V40 Pro commencing on August 13 and the Vivo V40 becoming available from August 19.
Both models in the Vivo V40 series feature a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,260×2,800 pixels, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits. They run on the latest Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14, ensuring a smooth and updated software experience.
Powering these smartphones is a substantial 5,500mAh battery that supports 80W wired fast charging, promising quick and efficient charging capabilities. The Vivo V40 Pro is equipped with a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, while the Vivo V40 utilizes a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, providing strong performance for both devices.
The camera systems are a standout feature for both models. The Vivo V40 Pro includes a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup, which features a 50-megapixel primary sensor with autofocus and optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto portrait sensor with 50x digital zoom. This setup is complemented by an Aura Light flash for improved low-light photography.
In comparison, the Vivo V40 offers a dual rear camera configuration co-engineered with Zeiss, consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and autofocus, paired with a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera. Both smartphones are equipped with a 50-megapixel front camera for high-quality selfies and video calls.
Connectivity features of the Vivo V40 series include support for 5G networks, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS, Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C port, ensuring comprehensive and modern connectivity options.
