For actor Ananya Panday, the digital media has proven to be rather fortunate. Following Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023), where she demonstrated her flexibility, the star child won hearts as a hustler turned South Delhi heiress in Call Me Bae. Well, Ananya is unstoppable and is currently onto her next OTT endeavor. The performer is going to push the envelope a little bit further this time. Ananya’s life will take a dark turn in the thriller CTRL when she uses AI to eliminate her boyfriend. Ananya has now revealed a fresh appearance from the upcoming web series ahead of the same.
Ananya provided some hilarious and ridiculous behind-the-scenes photos from the CTRL set in this entertaining post. Inspired by legendary performer Amol Palekar, the actor changed his appearance into a guy, complete with a moustache and short hair wig. Ananya is even holding up a photo of a young Amol close to her face in the final image of this photo dump. In addition to pictures of her decked up as a sumo wrestler, this photo dump features a humorous video of Ananya chest thumping a crew member before collapsing to the ground.
Fans just can’t get enough of the actor in a moustache. Many are now comparing Ananya to her father Chunky Panday. In the comment section below, one social media user called her: “Mini chunky Pandey”, whereas another comment read: “Junior chanki pandey.” Giving her credit for acing the look that inspired her, an internet user claimed, “Oh damn you are looking like Amol Palekar.” Other fans joked that she looks less like Ananya and more like ‘Anant’, ‘Anand’ and ‘Anna Panday’.
Ananya and her co-star Vihaan Samat play an influential couple in CTRL that split up after the latter cheats. Ananya asks AI to remove her ex in order to lessen the pain of her heartbreak. On October 4, CTRL will release, and the audience can’t wait to see her in her unique avatar.
