New Delhi, Oct 7 – Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is working tirelessly in sync with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure decentralised development model by bringing administrative facilities off district headquarters through the execution of the concept of the Co-District Facility in the Northeastern state.
On Oct 4, Public Health Technology Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah inaugurated the Co-District Facility at the Ramkrishna Nagar Assembly Block Office under the Karimganj district.
Karimganj Lok Sabha Member of Parliament Kripanath Mallah, Ramkrishna Nagar Assembly MLA Vijay Malakar and BJP party officials including Co-District Office In-charge Druvajyoti Deb were present at the inaugural programme, organized at the Ramakrishna Nagar block ground. Huge crowd attended the inaugural ceremony with enthusiasm.
The Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi wrote the names of Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah, Karimganj MP Kripanath Malah and MLA Vijay Malakar in the invitation letter, while the names of Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah and MLA Vijay were written on the stone plaque on the day of inauguration of the co-district office.
There is a whispering among different quarters that the names of Kripanath Mallah, local MP, Karimganj District Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi, IAS were not on the information plaque. Locals expressed reservation by having serious discussions.
The name of Karimganj MP was missing from the plaque of the co-district function at Patharkandi on the same day, but Kripanath was present in the function as he was invited.
How is it possible that such a big mistake has happened or the conspirators have deliberately not mentioned the names of the local Member of Parliament in the information board/plaque in the programme?
Meanwhile, it has come to light that Karimganj District BJP President Subrata Bhattacharya did not come to this programme, but why was he not given an invitation letter for such a big program or is there some other secret hidden in it?
Now, it remains to be seen what action the state government takes as it is committed to promote the concept of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’.
