It appears like singer Diljit Dosanjh has heard his followers. The well-known Punjabi singer extended his Dil-Luminati tour’s India leg by two dates on Wednesday. Many fans had voiced their displeasure when Jaipur was left out of the tour’s announcement for the India leg last month. It appears that the grievances were effective.
The Dil-Luminati tour promoters revealed on Tuesday night that they would be adding two more shows: one in Delhi on October 27 and one in Jaipur on November 3. Late on Tuesday night, Diljit made the announcement on his Instagram Stories. It also contained an important detail: starting on Wednesday, October 9, tickets will be available. On October 26, Diljit is scheduled to appear in Delhi as well.
On September 10, tickets for Diljit’s Dil-Luminati tour went on sale for additional performances. Most of the singer’s events sold out in a couple of minutes, demonstrating the extreme passion for her performances. Back then, a user on X had tweeted, “Insane Diljit Dosanjh concert craze.” For Dil-Luminati, tickets sold out in just a minute. I’m reminded of the excitement around the World Cup of Cricket.
As the 2.5 lakh tickets for his upcoming Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024 sold out, Diljit declared himself “overwhelmed” by the response. This concert tour is now the highest-grossing concert tour in India’s history. The India leg will start in Delhi on October 26, followed by a second show in Delhi on October 27, Jaipur on November 2, Hyderabad on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 17, Lucknow on November 22, Pune on November 24, Kolkata on November 30, Bengaluru on December 6, Indore on December 8, Chandigarh on December 14. On December 29, he will conclude the musical chapter in Guwahati.
