On Tuesday night, Kate Moss made her debut at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York City. In an unexpected appearance, the 50-year-old beauty walked the glittering runway as the event returned after a six-year hiatus. Lisa Moss, her daughter, made her Victoria’s Secret catwalk debut during the show.
Moss wore an all-black outfit with a lace cover-up over a black bra and underwear set for her famous walk set to Joan Jett’s I Love Rock ‘N Roll. She accessorized the ensemble with similar tulle angel wings and a bold pair of black stilettos. Moss’s gorgeous golden hair fell loosely over her shoulders as she walked the runway with her trademark smoldering gaze.
The English model made an appearance just after her daughter, 22, had her dramatic runway debut at Victoria’s Secret. Lila was wearing a fringed jacket and a pastel pink lingerie set. She accessorized her attire with a pair of high-heeled shoes and a dazzling silver body chain.
Speaking to Vogue Magazine, Moss said of her Victoria’s Secret debut, “It’s fun and exciting, but I still get nervous.” “It’s just on such a huge scale. When I used to do shows all the time obviously I didn’t even think about it – we’d just do back to back shows on the same day. Now it’s such a different thing, [the girls arrive] eight hours before a show for hair and make-up,” she added.
She also praised Victoria’s Secret for being more inclusive, saying, “Everybody buys clothes, not just 22-year-old girls.” “That’s why it’s good to show older women and bigger women, to be more inclusive of everyone. [Fashion as a whole] is definitely in a much better place,” Moss added.
