On his well-liked quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati this Friday, Amitabh Bachchan will traverse familial territory. Abhishek Bachchan, his son, will be the special guest and will be spotted promoting his recently released film, I Want To Talk. However, based on the episode’s teaser, it appears that Amitabh is regretting his choice.

On Thursday night, Sony Entertainment Telvision posted the promo to its official Instagram account. Abhishek is positioned in the sought-after hot seat, facing his father, at the beginning. Every time a competitor wins the top prize on the quiz program, Abhishek mimics Amitabh by yelling “₹7 crore.” He claims that even when Amitabh is eating dinner with his family at home, he can’t stop yelling, “₹7 crore.” “Galti kar di inko yahan bula ke” (It was a mistake inviting him here) is what Amitabh says after laughing.

The video also shows Shoojit Sircar, director of Abhishek’s I Want To Talk, laughing with the studio audience. Shoojit has worked with Amitabh Bachchan four times, including on his unreleased debut, Shoebite, Piku (2015), Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s courtroom drama Pink (2016), for which he served as Creative Producer, and most recently, Gulabo Sitabo (2020). It’s interesting to note that this is the first time he is working with Abhsihek.

Johny Lever and Ahilya Bamroo are also featured in I Want To Talk. The slice-of-life drama, which is produced by Rising Sun Films and Kino Works, will premiere on November 22 at 9 p.m., the same day that KBC’s special episode featuring Abhishek airs.
