Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya will get married on December 4 at Annapurna Studios. Sobhita had her pelli kuturu ceremony, which is similar to a traditional bridal shower, and she posted inside photographs of herself seeking blessings from elders.

Sobhita chose a traditional red and gold saree for the pelli kuturu ritual, and she looked stunning with the customary Telugu bottu on her forehead. The photos show her having fun with her family as they rub her feet with turmeric paste and perform an aarti, symbolizing her upcoming wedding. The actor appears joyful in the photos as she receives blessings from the family’s elders and poses for photos following the ritual. Numerous followers commented on the photos, with Raashii Khanna remarking, “Lovely you look!”

Sobhita skipped the regular pre-wedding parties in favor of a more traditional approach to her approaching wedding. In October, the actor underwent a goduma raayi pasupu danchadam (crushing turmeric) ceremony, which marked the start of all wedding preparations. She recently underwent the raata sthaapana and mangala snanam ceremonies, which are customary haldi rituals performed prior to the pelli kuturu ceremony. Traditionally, the mehendi ceremony follows, leading up to the December 4 wedding.

Sobhita and Chaitanya’s wedding ceremony will be simple yet traditional, with the bride and groom wearing traditional pattu silk robes. The guest list will include their family and loved ones, as well as a select industry colleagues. Chaitanya was previously married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, whom he wedded in a two-day Christian-Hindu ceremony in Goa in 2017. They parted in 2021, and he dated Sobhita for two years before getting engaged in August.
