ASSOCHAM ‘s honour of excellence for Kalinga Hospital Bhubaneshwar & others

Quality of Healthcare & expansion of Healthcare services provided by private hospitals as well as government hospitals in Odisha are seeing remarkable transformation to best in class service providers in current decade with implementation of people friendly health care policies of both Odisha government and Central government.
In fact , health care services provided by private sector large hospitals in metro cities in India are growing at fast pace and transforming into world class hospitals offering best medical treatment in the world for wide range of diseases as well as various types of physical illnesses.

ASSOCHAM honoured Ms. Nilanjana Mukherjee Managing Director of Kalinga Hospital Bhubaneshwar for “Women leadership in Healthcare Sector” at 5th edition of ” The Health Meet & Excellence Awards 2024 ” . Ms. Mukherjee played important role in turnaround of Kalinga Hospital. At present , Kalinga Hospital is one of best hospital in Bhubaneshwar.
ASSOCHAM honoured several other hospitals and health care service providers for excellence including Dr. Rashmi Rana Senior Scientist of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi for her pioneering invention of development of method for the early detection of gliomas ( brain tumor )
.
While addressing the meet , Maxim V Kozlov Consul General of Russia in Kolkata spoke on current Russian Health care system and its inclusiveness to provide easy access to all sections of Russian society . He mentioned Russia is incorporating advancement of Artificial Intelligence in diagonistics to medical treatment delivery mechanisms.
Shri Y Ratnakara Rao IAS , Secretary Department of Health & Family Welfare , West Bengal Government, and Chief Guest of the Health Meet spoke on Health Policy of the West Bengal Government. He stressed under leadership & inspiration of Smt. Mamata Banerjee Health Policies are developed to provide easy access to healthcare at low cost to all residents of West Bengal. He also mentioned Government is sensitive to needs of service providers and making efforts for solutions of their problems.
Mr. Debarshi Duttagupta, Chairman, Health Sector Sub Council, East , ASSOCHAM spoke on current status of Heath sector in eastern India.
Ms. Perminder jeet Kaur Senior Director ASSOCHAM offered vote of thanks and her Team ASSOCHAM comprising Shri Kallol Ghosh , Ms. Rita Sarkar and others played significant role in organising the Health Meet.
