Tej Pratap fined ₹4,000 for failing to wear a helmet in trending Holi video.

Former Bihar minister and RJD figure Tej Pratap Yadav has been penalized Rs 4,000 for scooty riding without a helmet close to the Chief Minister’s house in Patna during Holi. The traffic police provided the challan after discovering that the vehicle possessed both expired insurance and a pollution certificate.
A clip of the event, which appeared on the internet, displays Yadav, the offspring of RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, operating the motorcycle without safety helmet. Clad in traditional Holi garments, he was spotted navigating the streets, apparently enjoying the festivities, when the infringement was recorded on camera.
The term ‘Paltu’, which is a colloquial Hindi expression for a person who often shifts allegiances, has been utilized by the opposition to ridicule Nitish Kumar since he cut off connections with the RJD and Congress to reunite with the BJP and establish the government.
A video captures Tej Pratap, accompanied by another individual covered in colors, riding a scooter towards the Chief Minister’s home. Upon arriving at the gate, Yadav is heard saying over and over , “Paltu chacha kahan? Paltu chacha…(Where is flip-flop uncle?)”
The video also displayed fans accompanying him on additional two-wheelers, chanting slogans as the journey went on.
A different video has emerged, depicting Tej Pratap, the eldest son of RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, instructing a police officer to dance to his music or risk being suspended. The video, which has generated debate, depicts the officer meeting the RJD leader’s request in the presence of a group of party supporters.
Indicating a police officer who was at the party’s Holi festivities, Tej Pratap remarked, “Hey constable, I will play a song, and you must dance to it,” suggesting that if he refuses to dance, he might face suspension.
Significantly, the constable who danced as directed by the RJD leader was dismissed from his role as Tej Pratap Yadav’s bodyguard once the video of his dancing appeared online.
