BHEL’s revenue up 19% at ₹27,350 cr in FY25, records highest order inflows

The state-owned engineering company BHEL announced on Sunday a 19 percent year-on-year increase in revenue, reaching ₹27,350 crore for the fiscal year 2024-25. The firm achieved its largest order inflows in history this year, totaling ₹92,534 crore, according to a company announcement.

As a result, BHEL’s overall order book at the conclusion of FY 2024–25 reached ₹1,95,922 crore, it mentioned. As per the announcement, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) reported a revenue of ₹27,350 crore (preliminary and unaudited) for FY 2024–25, indicating a strong growth of approximately 19 per cent compared to the prior year.

The firm announced that in the power sector, BHEL upheld its leadership by securing orders totaling ₹81,349 crore. The industrial sector saw new orders totaling ₹11,185 crore, highlighting the company’s varied footprint in areas like transportation, defence, process industries, and industrial equipment, it mentioned.

In terms of execution, BHEL commissioned/synchronized 8.1 GW of power capacity, highlighting its ongoing emphasis on project completion and operational effectiveness. BHEL reported that it commenced FY 2025–26 with robust momentum, driven by double-digit revenue growth, a record order backlog, and a solid execution pipeline.

The firm is dedicated to providing high-impact infrastructure, promoting indigenisation, and increasing stakeholder value.
