Composer Anirudh pauses Bengaluru concert ticket sales after Pahalgam attack

Composer Anirudh Ravichander announced that the ticket sales for his Bengaluru concert has now been halted in the wake of Pahalgam terrorist attack that left at least 26 people dead. The tickets for his Hukum Tour, scheduled for June 1, was supposed to go live on April 24. The organisers, however, decided to postpone it to another date due to the “current national situation”. The new date will be announced soon.
The ‘Jailer’ composer wrote, “The tragic events in Pahalgam have deeply shaken us all. Our heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences go out to the victims and their families (sic).”
Further, he announced the postponement of ticket sales of his upcoming concert in Bengaluru. “Considering the current national situation, we are postponing the ticket sales for Second Show – HUKUM World Tour, Bengaluru, which was originally scheduled to go live today (24th April) at 2 PM (sic),” the statement read.
“India will identify, track and punish every terrorist and their backers. Today, on the soil of Bihar, I say to the whole world, India will identify, trace and punish every terrorist and their backers. We will pursue them to the ends of the Earth. India’s spirit will never be broken by terrorism,” he said.
“The entire nation is one in this resolve. Everyone who believes in humanity is with us…The punishment will be significant and stringent, which these terrorists would have never even thought about.. (sic),” he added as he issued a stern warning to the terrorists.
