Demi Moore named World’s Most Beautiful person of 2025

Hollywood actress Demi Moore was awarded the title of World’s Most Beautiful person by People Magazine. The declaration was met with applause, as she became one of the oldest individuals to attain this honor, challenging society’s long-held belief that beauty is linked to youth.

On Wednesday, People Magazine revealed the next issue with its online cover, showcasing Demi Moore. Moreover, in an interview with the magazine, the 62-year-old actress shared her experiences regarding beauty, aging, and body acceptance.

This acknowledgment followed an exceptionally successful year for Moore. Her latest movie ‘The Substance’ not only signified a strong comeback to the limelight but also garnered her a Golden Globe victory and an Oscar nomination.

Talking about her relationship with her body, Moore said, “I have a greater appreciation for all that my body has been through that brought me to now.”

She added, “It doesn’t mean that sometimes I look in the mirror and don’t go, ‘Oh God, I look old,’ or ‘Oh, my face is falling’ – I do. But I can accept that that’s where I’m at today, and I know the difference today is that it doesn’t define my value or who I am.”

She recalled how her earlier years in Hollywood were shaped by unrealistic expectations surrounding physical beauty. “I was really just punishing myself,” she admitted, referencing the extreme diet and exercise regimens she once followed.

Today, she focusses more on well-being than appearance. “It’s so much more about my overall health and well-being. It’s much more about longevity and quality of life. And I think I’ve evolved into greater gentility towards myself,” said Moore.
