BOBBY CHAKRABORTY’S 473RD ANTI ADDICTION CAMPAIGN AT JULIEN DAY SCHOOL,HOWRAH CREATES A SENSATION AMONG THE STUDENTS

On November 6th,the packed auditorium of Julien Day School, Howrah had eager students from the 6th-9th grades, who were the lucky participants of Bobby Chakraborty’s life changing 473rd and his 2nd Anti Addiction Campaign here,which created quite a sensation among them.

Bobby,an eminent actor/activist/teacher of method acting from Kolkata-India, has been religiously carrying out this global awareness program for the youth, titled ‘I AM THE KING OF MY MIND’, free of cost, for the last two decades.

This mind bending interactive and entertaining program, filled with social experiments and fun activities aims at empowering a child to take control over one’s mind, in order to fight against all sorts of addiction(smoking/alcoholism/smart phones) and harmful social trends(abusive language/online obscenity to gain popularity/online gambling through games/bullying etc.),as they grow up.

The official photographer of the session was active soldier Ishaan Jaiswal(IX),assisted by energetic soldier Dipto Chatterjee(VI),who won the ceremonial title of ‘The Best Friend’ too. Other coveted titles of ‘The 1st Soldier’ and ‘The Trendsetter’ both went to an extremely participative soldier Jagrit Pachal(VI).

The electrifying session,which won the hearts of the students, ended with a surprise contest,which had soldiers Souhardya Das(VIII), Aniket Saha(VII) and Aditya Ranjan Patra(VI) as the winners.They along with Ishaan were given special prizes, customized soldier’s t-shirts and community service certificates by Bobby.

This collaborative fruitful session by The Julien Educational Trust, the Principal Maryann Smith and the event coordinator Dominic Jennings with Bobby,ended with students, not wanting to leave the auditorium without a photo or an autograph from their beloved ’Bobby Dada’.
