Indian Navy Day Celebrated Today

India proudly marked Navy Day, honouring the valour, dedication, and maritime excellence of the Indian Navy. The day commemorates Operation Trident, the Navy’s decisive attack on Karachi Harbour during the 1971 Indo-Pak War.

Celebrations across the country highlighted the Navy’s commitment to safeguarding India’s maritime borders and strengthening national security. Special events, ceremonial parades, wreath-laying ceremonies, and demonstrations of naval capabilities were organised at various naval commands.

Leadership of the Indian Navy reiterated their resolve to uphold maritime sovereignty and expand India’s presence in the Indo-Pacific region. Citizens across the nation extended heartfelt gratitude to naval personnel and their families for their unwavering service.
