Baldoni Admits He Told Pregnant Lively He Was Circumcised, Even Though She Didn’t Ask

Court documents recently released show that Justin Baldoni acknowledged telling Blake Lively he was circumcised during a visit to her New York home in December 2022 — while she was pregnant. The admission came during an October deposition in connection with Lively’s ongoing harassment lawsuit tied to their work on the film It Ends With Us.

According to the deposition, the two met to discuss Lively’s then-unborn child, with the question of circumcision coming up. When asked by Lively’s attorney if he had ever told her whether he was circumcised, Baldoni responded, “Yes,” even though he said Lively had not “directly” asked him the question.

Baldoni described the setting of the conversation as a crowded room: her husband was passing through, and there were staff members, assistants and others around. He emphasized that he does not normally talk about his genital status with coworkers.

In Lively’s amended complaint, she claims that hearing such personal disclosures — including Baldoni’s discussion of his genitalia — made her feel “uncomfortable,” and argues they reflect a pattern of conduct that contributed to a hostile work environment. Baldoni, meanwhile, has denied the allegations and said he wants the truth to come out in court. His attorneys have moved to have the case dismissed via summary judgment. Lively’s legal team filed their opposition in early December, urging the judge to allow the lawsuit to proceed to trial, which is currently slated for March 2026.

This disclosure — that Baldoni volunteered intimate personal information during a meeting about the film — represents one of the more startling specifics in a case that has become one of Hollywood’s closely followed legal disputes.
