South Eastern Railway Hosts Vibrant Inter Divisional Cultural Competition (Music) 2025 in Kharagpur

KHARAGPUR : The Inter Divisional Cultural Competition (Music) 2025 of South Eastern Railway took place today at the MDZTI Auditorium in Kharagpur. The event highlighted the musical talents of railway employees from across the zone. About 40 participants from the four divisions of South Eastern Railway joined the competition with great enthusiasm. They performed in different categories: Classical Music (Vocal), Classical Music (Instrumental), Light Music (Vocal), and Light Music (Instrumental). The performers showed impressive skills, creativity, and passion, turning the event into a Vibrant celebration of culture.

 
The chief guest was Dr. Mahua Verma, Principal Chief Personnel Officer (PCPO) of South Eastern Railway. Other important Officers included Lalit Mohan Pandey, Divisional Railway Manager of Kharagpur, and Sudha Pandey, President of South Eastern Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (SERWWO). Many Assistant Divisional Railway Managers (ADRMs) and officers from different branches also attended in this programme.

Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries appreciated the high standard of performances and emphasized the importance of cultural activities in fostering creativity, camaraderie and overall well-being among railway employees.

The Inter Divisional Cultural Competition (Music) 2025 not only provided a platform for employees to exhibit their musical talents but also strengthened inter-divisional bonding and promoted cultural harmony within South Eastern Railway.
