Karan Johar and Sandeep Reddy Vanga are pleased by Rocking Star Yash’s Toxic teaser: “I got knocked out!”

The first teaser for Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups was officially released today in honor of Rocking Star Yash’s 40th birthday. After days of teasing fans with first look posters for Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, and Nayanthara, there was a sneak peek and Yash’s first appearance as Raya.

Yash’s amazing aura stole the event, as was to be predicted, and the Toxic preview quickly went viral online. While some fans praised it, others talked about how Yash’s film with Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna clashed with the eagerly anticipated Dhurandhar 2 on March 19. The first look teaser for Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been reviewed by filmmakers Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Karan Johar.

The Kannada celebrity lights a cigarette and gives us a glimpse of some intense action before saying, “Daddy’s Home.” Lauding the teaser and wishing Yash on his birthday, filmmaker Karan Johar shared, “WOW!!!! What a BIRTHDAY announcement!!! Truly ROCKING! @thenameisyash happy Birthday and this KICKS ASS!”

Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, on the other hand, tweeted, “TOXIC teaser just knocked me out. Style. Attitude. Chaos. Happy Birthday Yash 👑 @TheNameIsYash.”

Director Geetu Mohandas’ gangster action film, which also stars Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Akshay Oberoi, is scheduled to hit theaters on March 19.
