The murder suspect in Indore raped a body and looked up ways to communicate with ghosts on YouTube.

Unsettling information has surfaced regarding the death of a 24-year-old MBA student in Indore by her lover. In addition to strangling her to death, the accused allegedly raped her body, drank alcohol next to it, stabbed her in the stomach after she passed away, and then looked up techniques to communicate with spirits online, according to police.

The unsettling series of incidents, according to investigators, suggests severe cruelty and potential psychological instability. The accused, who is in police custody, was asked about why he killed his girlfriend. “What had to happen has happened,” the accused responded, showing no remorse.

After neighbors complained of a bad odor, the victim’s body was found on February 13 in a leased apartment in the Dwarkapuri neighborhood. Police discovered her laying nude on a bed when they smashed down the door. She had rope marks all over her neck. Police said that in order to stop her from screaming, the accused, Piyush Dhamnodiya, bound her hands and legs and put plastic in her mouth.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Ram Krishnalchandani, the two had been dating for approximately a year. According to reports, the accused was uneasy and often argued with her about marriage. He was angry that she was forcing him to marry her and suspected that she talked to other men.

To settle their issues, the accused reportedly brought the woman to his rented room on February 10. According to the police, the two had sex, but they then got into a fight about marriage. He allegedly used a rope to strangle her while he was furious. 

During questioning, the accused shockingly admitted to stabbing her in the stomach with a knife after she passed away. He acknowledged sexually abusing the body as well. The post-mortem study, which is still pending, will corroborate the specifics of the sexual assault.  He drank wine near to the body and stayed in the room after the murder, according to officials.

According to police, the accused later stole the victim’s phone and sent footage to a group in an effort to kill her persona. Investigators think he intended to harm her reputation and dispel suspicion.

After that, he escaped Indore by train and went to Panvel, Maharashtra.In one of the most strange disclosures, authorities claimed that the accused looked up techniques to contact with spirits on YouTube and the internet while in Panvel. He allegedly tried to “call back” the victim’s spirit by engaging in occult rituals. He went to Mumbai from Panvel and apparently moved around on local trains for a while before being taken into custody on February 14.According to police, the accused used to visit the victim’s family and was well-known to them. For more than a year, the two had been in communication.

The victim’s father had previously claimed that his daughter was experiencing extreme stress. He said she was being blackmailed and that pornographic images and videos of her were being shared online. Additionally, he claimed that she was under duress to cover the accused’s tuition.
