CDS Gen Anil Chauhan Reviews Chinar Corps Readiness, Stresses Jointness & Multi-Domain Preparedness

Anil Chauhan visited areas under Chinar Corps in Srinagar on April 4, 2026, reviewing the operational situation along the Line of Control in North Kashmir. He commended the Corps for its high standards of preparedness, professionalism, and doctrinal clarity. At Baramulla, he was briefed on future force application and technology integration.

Addressing officers, the CDS highlighted the evolving nature of warfare, calling for a transition from domain-centric operations to integrated multi-domain operations. He stressed the importance of jointness across land, air, maritime, cyber, space, and cognitive domains, urging enhanced joint training, doctrinal alignment, and interoperable command structures.

Gen Chauhan emphasized the need for technological adaptation, innovation, and a unified war fighting approach to address emerging threats. He also interacted with civil administration and local representatives, reviewing nation-building initiatives, and urged all ranks to maintain operational excellence and readiness for future conflicts.
