Indian Air Force hosts Subroto Mukherjee memorial Lecture in West Bengal

Air Marshal Walia AVSM VM, AOC-in-C, EAC delivered the inaugural address at the Subroto Mukherjee Memorial Lecture organised by Air Force Association (West Bengal) on 04 Apr 26. The Seminar is an annual event, commemorating the legacy of Air Marshal Subroto Mukherjee, the first Indian Chief of Air Staff and one of the visionary founders of the Indian Air Force. The theme of seminar was “Fostering Professional Thought, Reflection and Dialogue on National and Strategic Issues related to Air Power”.

ACM Arup Raha PVSM, AVSM, VM (Retd) while delivering memorial talk as a part of the event provided valuable insights drawn from his extensive experience in military leadership and strategic planning. The event was attended by veterans of Indian Armed forces, NCC cadets, college students and important civilian organisations.

The primary objective of the seminar was to foster meaningful interaction between serving personnel and veterans enabling exchange of perspective of contemporary challenges as well as issues faced by them and also to disseminate relevant policies during the occasion.

The IAF remains committed to nurturing professional dialogue and strengthen strategic leadership through such events.
