Aircraft of SpiceJet and Akasa Air Collide at Indira Gandhi International Airport, No Injuries Reported

A ground incident involving two commercial aircraft at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi has triggered fresh concerns over operational safety at one of the country’s busiest aviation hubs. According to preliminary information, the mishap occurred when a SpiceJet aircraft was taxiing after landing and its wing came into contact with an Akasa Air aircraft that was stationary at the time.
