Tight Security in Jhargram Ahead of Assembly Elections 2026, CRPF Conducts Flag March

Security arrangements have been significantly intensified in Jhargram to ensure free, fair, and peaceful Assembly Elections 2026. As part of proactive measures, the 184 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force carried out a flag march and intensive patrolling in Lalgarh block and adjoining police station areas. Additionally, the second phase of the ‘All Out’ operation has been successfully completed across sensitive zones.

Under the leadership of Praveen Kumar Tripathi, District Force Coordinator-cum-Commandant, teams from the E/232 Mahila Battalion of CRPF, along with local police, conducted area domination exercises in Chandrapur village and nearby regions.

Security personnel interacted with residents, assuring them that any form of violence, intimidation, or inducement would be dealt with strictly. Citizens were encouraged to exercise their voting rights fearlessly.

Officials confirmed that all vulnerable areas are under close surveillance, with strict action planned against any suspicious activities. Voters were also made aware of the Election Commission’s toll-free helpline 1950 for reporting grievances.

The strong presence of security forces has boosted public confidence, with many residents expressing readiness to participate in the democratic process without fear.
