30 Nursing Cadets Commissioned into Military Nursing Service at Eastern Command Hospital

A ceremony marked by discipline, compassion, and pride was held at the Command Hospital Eastern Command, where the 12th batch of B.Sc Nursing cadets was commissioned into the Military Nursing Service.
Organised by the College of Nursing, Eastern Command, the event saw 30 nursing cadets formally inducted as officers, embarking on a new chapter of service to the nation. The ceremony was attended by Sanjay Maurya, Commandant of the hospital, who served as the Reviewing Officer.
Sushma Thomas, Principal Matron, administered the oath to the newly commissioned officers, marking the beginning of their professional journey. The event was led by Jeeva George, Principal of the College of Nursing, whose efforts ensured the successful ceremony.
The commissioning reflects the continued commitment of the Armed Forces to strengthening its medical services with skilled and dedicated nursing professionals.
