When Rihanna goes out, it’s usually more than just an appearance; it’s a whole fashion moment, and her trip to Mumbai for the Fenty Beauty launch in India was no different. How often do you see global couture styled with such a blend of cultures? She donned two costumes, several eye-catching accessories, and a strong Indian influence. It’s interesting, huh?

Miguel Castro Freitas created a monochromatic olive-green outfit for Mugler’s Fall 2026 collection, which Rihanna wore to start the evening. Clean, well-organized, and polished, the appearance was nothing short of subtle elegance. At night, she changed into an elegant black dress from Alaïa, which immediately increased the glitz. The contrast was striking, but what really sparked the conversation? It was the jewelry she chose.

When you can add a cultural flavor, why settle for standard styling? Rihanna added traditional Indian jewelry to both of her ensembles, giving them a unique edge. A striking kite-cut ring with a strong, angular form stood out in the middle of her ensemble. Tapered baguette diamonds framed the center stone, producing a dazzling, structural look that preserved eternal brilliance.

An ethereal flowery ear cuff by Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas went well with this. Inspired by Dara Shikoh’s elaborate flower studies, the item was crafted in glowing mother-of-pearl and adorned with exquisite diamonds. Its delicate, flowing curves provided a sophisticated contrast to the ring’s geometric edge, evoking Mughal workmanship.

Rihanna donned a striking haathphool by Manish Malhotra, which added a uniquely Indian flair. In a majestic flourish, the exquisitely crafted diamond jewelry flowed gracefully around her hand, joining fingers to wrist. The piece’s high-shine finish, which reflected both modern luxury and tradition, enhanced her appearance.

The international celebrity accessorized her ensemble with rings and bracelets from Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s High Jewellery collection, giving it a rich, maximalist edge. The striking 18k gold Assam Bracelet was adorned with brilliant-cut diamonds and a vibrant variety of gemstones, including tourmaline, emerald, ruby, spinel, sapphire, garnet, iolite, kyanite, turquoise, and coral.
