Samsung Launches AI-Powered WindFree ACs to Meet Rising Cooling Demand in India

News Mania Desk/ Piyal Chatterjee/27th April 2026

Amid soaring temperatures across the country, Samsung has introduced its new range of Bespoke AI WindFree air conditioners, aimed at delivering smarter and more energy-efficient cooling solutions for Indian households.

The latest lineup integrates artificial intelligence with advanced cooling technology to enhance user comfort. A key highlight is the WindFree feature, which disperses air through thousands of micro-holes, ensuring a gentle and uniform cooling experience without the discomfort of direct cold airflow. This approach is designed to maintain consistent indoor temperatures while improving overall comfort.

The air conditioners are equipped with AI-driven capabilities that automatically adjust cooling settings based on factors such as room temperature, humidity, and user habits. This intelligent system enables the appliance to switch between modes seamlessly, offering what the company describes as a more personalised and adaptive cooling experience.

Energy efficiency remains a major focus of the new range. With the inclusion of an AI Energy Mode, the units can optimise power consumption by analysing usage patterns, helping households reduce electricity costs during peak summer months. This feature is expected to appeal to consumers looking for sustainable and cost-effective cooling options.

In addition to performance, the new ACs offer enhanced connectivity through the SmartThings platform. Users can remotely control and monitor their devices via smartphones, access features like automated cooling adjustments, and even manage energy usage when away from home. Voice assistant compatibility further adds to the convenience.

The Bespoke AI WindFree models also incorporate air purification systems designed to improve indoor air quality by filtering out dust, allergens, and other pollutants. This added functionality addresses growing concerns about air quality in urban living environments.

From a design perspective, the ACs feature a sleek and modern aesthetic in line with Samsung’s Bespoke range, allowing them to blend seamlessly into contemporary interiors. The lineup is available in multiple capacities and configurations, catering to a wide range of room sizes and consumer needs.

With this launch, Samsung aims to strengthen its presence in India’s competitive home appliance market by offering a combination of smart technology, efficiency, and comfort. The new range reflects a broader shift toward intelligent, connected appliances that adapt to user behaviour while addressing the challenges posed by rising temperatures.
