On World Bicycle Day Observed with Enthusiastic Cycle Rally by CRPF 184th Battalion

Jhargram : In observance of World Bicycle Day, the 184th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) conducted a ‘Sunday on Cycle’ event on Sunday as part of the 75th edition of the Fit India Movement. The event saw enthusiastic participation from officers and personnel under the leadership of Commandant Praveen Kumar Tripathi.

The cycle rally was flagged off from the battalion headquarters and covered surrounding areas to raise public awareness about adopting a healthy lifestyle and protecting the environment. The rally promoted key messages emphasizing the significance of fitness, maintaining a clean environment, and encouraging sustainable modes of transport.

Speaking on the occasion, Commandant Tripathi highlighted that cycling not only improves physical health but also supports environmental conservation by reducing pollution and saving fuel. He encouraged everyone to incorporate bicycle use into their daily routines.

The event was attended by Second-in-Command Pranav Anand Jha, Assistant Commandant N.K. Verma, Dr. Sheela Ganesh, along with other battalion officers and personnel. Participants were also educated on the benefits of regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and leading an active lifestyle.

Participants appreciated the initiative by the CRPF, stating that such events are instrumental in enhancing public awareness about fitness and health. The program concluded with a collective pledge to pursue a healthy and eco-friendly way of living.
