West Bengal Police Signs MoU with Rashtriya Raksha University to Boost Cybersecurity and Modern Policing

Kolkata: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Rashtriya Raksha University and the West Bengal Police at Nabanna in the presence of West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the collaboration aims to modernise policing systems, enhance cybercrime prevention capabilities, and strengthen the state’s overall security infrastructure. The partnership will focus on advanced training, research, capacity building, and the integration of modern technologies into law enforcement practices.
Officials said the initiative is designed to equip police personnel with specialised skills to tackle emerging security challenges, particularly in the cyber domain. The agreement marks a significant step toward building a future-ready policing framework through closer cooperation between academic institutions and law enforcement agencies in West Bengal.
