Extensive security arrangements were put in place across the national capital on Friday as the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) staged its second major protest at Jantar Mantar, drawing students, job aspirants, and supporters from various parts of the country.

Delhi Police deployed a significant number of personnel around the protest venue and nearby areas to maintain law and order. Barricades were erected at strategic points, while surveillance was intensified to monitor the gathering and prevent any untoward incidents. Authorities also made traffic management plans to minimize disruptions in the city.

The demonstration was organized to raise concerns over alleged irregularities in public examinations, recruitment processes, and instances of question paper leaks. Protesters demanded greater transparency and accountability from authorities responsible for conducting examinations and recruitment drives. Organizers urged participants to attend the rally carrying plates and spoons, which were used as symbolic tools to amplify their demands.

The latest protest follows an earlier gathering held on June 6 at Jantar Mantar, which witnessed a large turnout of students and youth. During that event, demonstrators voiced dissatisfaction with the handling of examination-related issues and sought corrective measures from the government. The movement has since gained wider attention, with activists and public figures expressing support for the concerns raised by students and job seekers.

Police officials stated that permission had been granted for the protest under specified conditions. Security personnel remained on high alert throughout the day to ensure the demonstration remained peaceful. Authorities also coordinated with district units and traffic police to manage crowds and maintain public safety.

The protest reflects growing frustration among young people over examination and recruitment-related concerns, with participants calling for reforms aimed at ensuring fairness, transparency, and efficiency in the education and employment systems.
