Diplomacy In The Maidan By Sourav Ganguly

Sourav Ganguly visited the Mohun Bagan club on October 25, less than 48 hours after he visited the East Bengal premises.
The siblings proceeded to visit East Bengal authorities, who are alleged to be irate about the exclusion of one of their own, on October 23 after opting not to submit his nomination for the CAB president and thereby paving the way for elder brother Snehasish Ganguly’s promotion.
The visit prompted rumors about the Ganguly brothers’ trip to East Bengal on the Maidan.
On October 25, Sourav paid a visit to the Mohun Bagan facilities. He spoke with the club secretary Debashish Dutta and the football secretary Swapan Banerjee, and afterward, he praised them for their support of the slate of officeholders who are all expected to be elected without a vote.
One of the East Bengal lawmakers reportedly wanted to hold elections for the vice-president position because they were unhappy with Sourav’s panel.
Sourav is expected to return as the director of ATK Mohun Bagan even though he is currently not involved in cricket administration.
Additionally, Sourav stated that he would attend the Indian Super League Derby between Bagan and East Bengal on October 22 at the Salt Lake Stadium.
Later, Sourav visited the Bagan facility to observe the ATK Bagan football team practice in front of head coach Juan Ferrando.
