Samannay is not just a name. It’s an acronym of the powerful Phoenix who rises from the ashes again and again. A permanent solution to a common problem. The group was formed on 27th October 2019 by Dr. Rimo Naskar, the founding member of Kalpurush Page, so that the conflicts and debates between the literary pages of Bengal comes to an end and instead of becoming competitors, joining hands to serve the society in a better way.
In 2021, Sandip Sen, the founder of Dolchuter Kolom page, proposed the idea of organizing a Facebook Page Fest with all the culture and literary pages as the group’s annual event. Bengal’s First Facebook Page Fest (FPF) 2K22 was held on 14th May 2022 at Mohit Maitra stage in Kolkata with 42 Facebook Pages as its organizer.
This year 45 pages and their respective members took part in Facebook Page Fest (FPF) 2.0 Fest.The chief guest of the event was Mr. Deepak Halder, an eminent theater personality who is known for ‘Boni’, ‘Birhi’, ‘Mafia’, ‘Sitara’, ‘Kali’, ‘Ulot Puran’, ‘Byomkesh Phire Elo’.
Kolkata’s renowned OTT platform KLIKK released the motion poster of their upcoming web series Honeymoon starring eminent actors like Sean Banerjee and Aishwarya Sen. Both the actors were present at the gala event of FPF 2.0 last Saturday. New musical bands like Niskraman, Prakaran and Panchabhut and the Sankalp dance troupe enthralled the audience of over 400.
The young lads could not contain their love towards these actors and rushed towards them to get a picture.FPF 2.0 captivated the audience in its second year with the combined efforts of experienced members like Surya Shankar Roy, Joydeep Neogi, Priyanka Das, Satyaki Kotal, Aneek Pal, Amit Das, Tanuj Mridha, Rohit Marik, Arpita Paul, Jit Bhattacharjee.
45 Facebook Pages like LaughaLaughi, The Line, Adure Alpin, Moner Diary, Boba Tunnel, Kandari, Alekhya participated in this page fest. While we are not able to mention each and everyone’s name here, this event would not have been a successful one without the contribution of everyone.
