BongoStore announced The Bangaliana Initiative, enabling people from different facets to revive a culture rich heritage of Bengal in Kolkata on 19-04-2023.
The Bangaliana Initiative Brief:
We decided it’s time for a whole new conversation about Bengal and it’s fading heritage. A story we would like to re-write with our ambitions for the near future. The best of our cultural traditions now fading to bring back to life and combine it with what’s now and what’s to come very soon. We introduce Bangaliana as an experience endeavouring to shape Bengal.
Introducing PURULIA as our theme for the very first Bangaliana experience headed by some brilliant people who work with them every day.
The whole initiative will help build an awareness of what we are losing and missing out on. Be it the wooden owls from Nutangram or a simple alur chop from our parar dokan, a more conscious society is in the works and we will adapt but hold on to our very own culture and heritage. Join us in telling the world the story and the experience to remember!
