Congress’s “Jhoot Ki Rani” Remark Emerges As The NCPCR Tries To Take Action Against Rahul Gandhi
Following the NCPCR’s request to the Election Commission to take action against Rahul Gandhi for allegedly misusing youngsters as political pawns during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Congress charged the NCPCR with acting at the direction of the RSS on September 13. These are attempts to sabotage the Bharat Jodo Yatra, according to senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member Jairam Ramesh.
Ramesh claimed on Twitter that the NCPCR, established by Dr. Manmohan Singh’s administration, has now become nothing less than an RSS affiliate (sic). Several attempts to sabotage the Bharat Jodo Yatra
The NCPCR requested that the Election Commission take the required steps and launch an investigation into the alleged use of kids as “political instruments” during the Bharat Jodo Yatra by Congress. The organization for children’s rights claimed to have received a complaint accusing Gandhi and the Jawahar Bal Manch of deliberately targeting kids for political purposes.
The NCPCR wrote in a letter to the Election Commission that since there is a clear breach of children’s rights. Additionally, using children as tools to advance a political objective constitutes child abuse, which is prohibited by Article 21 of the Indian Constitution and can have a serious long-term impact on the mental health of the children involved. In order to take required action against the political party and its members who have been named in the complaint, the commission hereby urges your good offices to check into the situation, conduct a comprehensive investigation of the occurrences, and look into the problem.
Congressman Jothimani uploaded a video of a young youngster eagerly awaiting to see Rahul Gandhi with love and a flower in response to NCPCR. With a tweet saying
“Hey, childish commission #NCPCR It’s raining this morning. This young child is eager to greet @RahulGandhi with affection and flowers. Throughout his journey, hundreds of kids will be standing with families in this manner. Love breeds more love.”
Jairam Ramesh responded by stating that the Children’s Commission is directed by Jhoot ki Rani (queen of falsehoods), a clear allusion to Smriti Irani, the Union Minister for Women and Child Development.
