Dawat-E-Iftar, hosted by The Hon’ble Cabinet Minister ,Janab Javed Ahmed Khan
This is to inform that the much talked about and much awaited Dawat-E-Iftar, hosted by The Hon’ble Cabinet Minister ,Janab Javed Ahmed Khan- Minister of Disaster Management and Civil Defence of West Bengal , took place on the 15th of April, at The Orchid Banquets, Calcutta Boating and Hotel Resorts with important dignitaries of Kolkata,from all walks of life, of all faith ,gathering in love, friendship, brotherhood and cordiality.
Nothing more could have marked the message of harmony through the event coinciding with Poila Boishakh, the first day of the Bengali Calendar.
The elaborate and gala event was curated by the ever warm and affectionate Janab Imran Zaki, who along with Janab Javed Ahmed Khan took utmost care of each and every guest, from the time they entered till they left.
Among the powerful and prominent guest list we could spot Actor/Activist/Teacher of Method Acting Mr. Bobby Chakraborty, whose anti addiction campaigns were appreciated in front of the whole crowd by Janab Zaki and Janab Khan. Apart from him we could spot the effervescent Mrs. Suman Sood, Director Of BD Memorial School, the colourful Mrs. Apala Datta, Principal of Birla Bharati School, the enterprising Bishop Paritosh Canning, the 21st Bishop of Kolkata and many others.
Every guest was touched by the warmth and hospitality of the host and his team headed by Janab Imran Zaki. The elaborate and delicious platter was enjoyed by one and all.
Overall this Dawat-e-Iftar is the igniting curtain raiser to the upcoming explosive Eid Bash of Kolkata on 22nd April.
