Sourav Ganguly launched an education app on Thursday. Ganguly had posted a cryptic message yesterday, saying he was going to enter a new chapter of his life, giving rise to speculation that he was quitting as BCCI chief.
A day after taking the country by storm with a cryptic tweet, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly launched an education app — ClassPlus, for students and educators. Taking to Twitter, the Prince of Kolkata said he was launching an education app. He said he had long desired to help coaches and educators who contribute to creating and nurturing talent.
On Wednesday, Ganguly had tweeted that he was starting a new journey, which led to speculations of him joining politics and resigning from BCCI.
Ganguly had written that on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of his debut for the Indian team, he was planning to do something that would help others.
However, in the evening, he clarified that he did not resign but was launching an education app.
Ganguly said, “I have not resigned: I am launching a new education app worldwide. There is no resignation, nothing.”
