Ex-Boyfriend Of Actor Tunisha Sharma Claims They Split Over Religion
The uncle of Tunisha Sharma, a 20-year-old television actor who is believed to have committed suicide, questioned Sheezan Khan’s statement that their breakup was due to religious differences today.
On December 24, Tunisha Sharma’s death was discovered in the restroom on the Vasai, close to Mumbai, set of the television program “Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul.” Sheezan Khan, who claimed to have broken up with her a week prior to her passing, has been detained on suspicion of aiding and abetting.
Sheezan Khan claimed, when questioned by the Maharashtra police, that he discontinued the relationship after observing the fallout from Shraddha Walkar’s murder, which was reportedly committed by her live-in partner Aaftab Poonawala.
The murder has sparked intense debate, with some top leaders claiming it was the result of love jihad—a word the right-wing coined to describe numerous interfaith partnerships. A portion of the right-wing claims that Muslim boys purposefully seduce Hindu girls to force them into partnerships that will result in their conversion to Islam.
According to Sheezan Khan, he explained to Tunisha Sharma that their eight-year age difference and belonging to a different culture were obstacles to their relationship.
When asked whether the family supported Tunisia’s decision to wed Sheezan Khan, Pawan Sharma responded that his niece had never explicitly stated that they were dating. According to Mr. Sharma, Tunisha’s mother had persuaded Sheezan Khan not to move things along
