Iran Is Protesting For Human Rights, According To Mandana Karimi

The Iranian actress, who fled her country at the age of 19 and became successful in the Indian film business, discusses the difficulties faced by Iranian women and the necessity for the world to serve as their voice.

When Mandana Karimi was approximately 19 years old, she left Iran with a heavy heart. She did so by herself, without the assistance of her family, without any other language skills save Farsi, and with little money in her purse.

Because she didn’t want to live in a place where she couldn’t breathe, where she had to think carefully about who she was hanging out with, what she could study, and what she should wear to avoid being detained by the morality police before going outside. They had stopped her so frequently that she had lost track. She was arrested and had to use all of her money to buy her release.

Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Kurdish tourist in Tehran, was detained nine days ago for improperly donning her scarf. She was brought to the station in order to be informed and corrected, but she wasn’t fortunate. Mandana Karimi and 10,000 other Iranian females relived our trauma as a result of her death!

In Iran, Mandana has her mother and two brothers. Her mother is afraid of what is going on and lives alone in Tehran.

Mandana has gone days without getting enough rest or food. Her relatives couldn’t reach her until two days ago. Although they have a terrible connection and no internet, their phones still function. They are completely cut off from the outside world.

According to Mandana, this is a battle for women’s equality and human rights. We are requesting the freedom to dress however we like without fear of abuse or violence. Islam or the hijab is unrelated to this. This is a matter of women’s rights. It should be our decision whether or not to wear a scarf, not someone else’s. The entire globe must speak for us.
