Federation of World Sindhi Congress urges Bangladesh to stop violence & protect minorities

New Delhi -28th November 2024

The Federation of World Sindhi Congress (FWSC) has voiced strong condemnation against the ongoing communal violence in Bangladesh following the arrest and denial of bail to Hindu priest Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahamachari. This priest reportedly spoke out against atrocities targeting minorities, particularly after the August 5 change in regime in Bangladesh.

In a statement, FWSC International President Mr. Mahesh Jethmalani expressed deep shock and urged Bangladeshi authorities to ensure the safety and protection of Hindu minorities in the country. He emphasized that such violence, like that reported in Chittagong, constitutes a crime against humanity.
