100+ participants tune in for updates on new hotels, new itineraries, and Euro Cup 2024!
24 August 2023- Frankfurt Tourist+Congress Board hosted a spectacularly successful webinar, where they shared interesting new updates on what is new and upcoming in the city of Frankfurt. The key objective of the webinar was to focus on enhancing and strengthening the Indian travel trade’s knowledge on Frankfurt and also hep them in creating customized itineraries for their clients. Many the travel agents in attendance were from tier 2 and tier 3 cities such as Kochi, Faridabad, Surat, Goa, Kozhikode, Kolkata etc.
In a detailed presentation, Ms. Leona Flach, Manager of Tourism and Marketing, took the eager attendees through a comprehensive agenda which included family friendly itineraries, introduction to new hotels and MICE venues and the highlights for 2024. “We are extremely pleased that more than a hundred agents from many different cities could be part of our webinar. We received encouraging response from the travel agents and we will plan to host more such product update trainings.” says Ms Flach.
The presentation started with an introduction to Frankfurt city in the beautiful seasons of autumn and winter and festivals such as the Rheigu Wine festival, Jazz on the Third and the glorious Christmas Market to look forward to in the coming months. Updates were shared about the newly launched hotels and MICE venues like the Althof Collection’s Villa Speyer, formerly known as Villa Kennedy and the VILCO Centre.The most exciting event highlighted during the webinar- Frankfurt will be hosting the Euro Cup-UEFA 2024! A large area of the river embankment will be turned into the FanZone with a giant screen on the river and additional screens throughout the area. The centrally located FanZone will have the capacity of around 30,000 visitors. At the end of the webinar, three participants- Kiran Choksi from from Akshar tours (Ahmedabad), Rutu Nagaria from Holiday Smith (Mumbai) and Aditi Sarvate from Rayaan Holidays (Pune) won the Frankfurt welcome package!
