India – Romania Economic cooperation key to strengthen multi-dimensional relationship between the nations 

India – Romania  relationship is expanding to strengthen bond between Governments and people of both countries.

 Ambassador of Romania to India , Nepal and Bangladesh Ms. Daniela- Mariana Sezonov Tane addressed a special session on ” Romania India Economic Cooperation: Present and Future Perspectives ” organised by Bharat Chamber of Commerce on 10th April 2024 in Kolkata.

Ambassador Daniela emphasized economic cooperation between Romania and India is growing and expanding in to new areas which will strengthen Romania India multi-dimensional relationship .

Mr. Ionut Mircea Viziru Economic Counsellor  Head of Economic and Commercial  Office of Romanian Embassy in India  made a presentation on scope and opportunity of investment in Romania.

Ambassador Daniela said there is need to promote enhanced bilateral economic cooperation on Energy, Information Technology and Communication (IT&C) and Manufacturing Industry.

Recently, Romania has appointed Shri Shiv Kumar Agarwala an industrialist as Honorary Consul of Romania in Kolkata for West Bengal and North Eastern States of India.
