 An Israeli strike on Friday morning near Lebanon’s Masnaa border crossing with Syria cut off a path used by hundreds of thousands of refugees to flee Israeli bombardments in recent days, Lebanon Transport Minister Ali Hamieh told the media
According to Hamieh, the attack occurred close to the border crossing within Lebanese territory, leaving a crater four meters (12 feet) wide.
Hezbollah, an armed group in Lebanon sponsored by Iran, was allegedly using the crossing on Thursday to bring military hardware into Lebanon, according to a military spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).during 300,000 people, the great majority of whom were Syrians, crossed into Syria from Lebanon during the course of the past ten days in order to avoid the Israeli shelling, according to figures provided by the Lebanese government.

There are concerns that Iran and the US may become embroiled in the multifront Middle East conflict as a result of the Hezbollah and Israel confrontation, which is intensifying.The battle between Israel and the Lebanese military movement, Hezbollah, has dramatically escalated, prompting nations all over the world to make backup plans for the evacuation of their citizens from Lebanon. However, as Israel’s military attacked Beirut with fresh airstrikes in its campaign against Lebanese armed group Hezbollah, Biden stated that more needed to be done to prevent a Middle East war.As the United States, the European Union, and other allies have demanded an immediate 21-day ceasefire in the confrontation between Israel and Lebanon, Biden stated that the United States and Israel were debating how to respond to Tehran’s attack, which may involve Israel attacking Iran’s oil facilities.

“We’re discussing that,” Biden told reporters.

His comments contributed to a surge in global oil prices, and rising Middle East tension has made traders worry about potential supply disruptions.

However, Biden added: “There is nothing going to happen today.” Asked later if he was urging Israel not to attack Iran’s oil installations, Biden said he would not negotiate in public.

His remarks fueled an increase in oil prices around the world, and growing tension in the Middle East has traders concerned about possible disruptions to supplies.The president declared on Wednesday that he would oppose any Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Israel’s ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, informed the media on Thursday that his nation will demonstrate its might to Tehran “soon” and that it had “a lot of options” for response.

According to Israel, the goal of its operations in Lebanon is to enable tens of thousands of its residents to return home after being forced to flee their country’s north by Hezbollah bombardment during the Gaza conflict.
Israeli attacks have resulted in the displacement of over 1.2 million Lebanese, and since the attacks began a year ago, approximately 2,000 people have died in Lebanon, the majority of them in the previous two weeks, according to Lebanese authorities.Early on Friay, Lebanon’s health ministry said 27 people were killed and 151 wounded over the prior day.Hezbollah claims that by using tactics like ambushes and direct confrontations, it has thwarted multiple Israeli army field operations.
